Privacy
What we do not collect
Siestina has no account, no sign-up and no form: we never ask for your name, your email address or any contact details. The tool’s calculations run entirely in your browser, and the values you enter are stored nowhere — they disappear the moment you close the tab.
Analytics
The website uses Google Analytics to understand how it is being read. An event is sent when a visitor uses the tool, carrying the age range shown and the type of sleep being viewed. That tells us which subjects deserve to be expanded; it is aggregated, attached to no identity, and cannot be reassembled into a child’s profile.
Analytics is only switched on after your consent. If you decline, no measurement cookie is set and the tool works exactly the same.
What is stored locally
Your display preference between the light and dark theme is kept in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device, and you can erase it by clearing the site data.
Your choice about cookies is stored separately, by Google’s consent management platform: it shows the message, takes your decision and keeps a record of it. You can change it at any time from the consent management link that message provides.
Advertising
The website shows ads served by Google AdSense, only at the end of a page and never before the tool’s results. Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure those ads; they are only enabled after your consent, collected the first time you open the site.
Declining personalised advertising removes no functionality: the tool stays entirely accessible and identical. You can change your choice at any time from your browser’s privacy settings, and manage your Google ad preferences at myadcenter.google.com.
Your rights
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you a right of access to, correction of and erasure of your personal data. As Siestina holds none, those rights have nothing to apply to in practice — but any question can be sent through the legal notice page.
